The Maharashtra government has started a new scheme in the interest of the farmers of the state, which is called Sprinkler Pump Yojana. Under this scheme, farmers will be given spray machines for free. The objective of this scheme is to save farmers from financial difficulties in purchasing spray machines for irrigation. Those farmers who are financially weak and do not have money to buy spray pumps. This also has a negative impact on their yield, because due to lack of proper irrigation system, crop production is affected. Regarding this problem, the Maharashtra government has started the Sprinkler Pump Scheme in the interest of the farmers of the state.

Procedure for applying for Sprinkler Pump Scheme
- Farmers have to first visit the official website of this scheme https://mahadbt.maharashtra.gov.in/ .
- On the homepage, you will have to select the menu section Shetkari Yojana.
- After this the registration form will open, in which the necessary information will have to be filled.
- Upon completion of registration, you will receive a Logging ID and Passport.
- You will re-login to the portal using these login details.
- After this, choose the option of “Sprinkler Pump Scheme”. After this the application form will open, you will have to fill the correct information asked in it.
- Now a list of agricultural equipment will appear in front of you, here you will have to select the agricultural equipment.
- Then you have to proceed further by clicking on the “Next” button.
- After this you have to click on the given option “Battery operated sprinkler pump”.
- After this, you have to click on the “Next” button. After this, you will be asked to upload the required documents.
- After uploading self attested scanned copy of required documents you will have to pay the fee of Rs.23.60 for the application form and then you will get the receipt.
