Franchise Scheme Rajasthan was started by the Rajasthan Government in 2023. Under which, the Rajasthan Government announced to give a grant of Rs 1 lakh to specially abled people, single women, unmarried women, widows and other deprived classes on taking franchise. Employment is an important subject in the modern era, which plays an important role in the economic security of the society.
In this context, the “Franchise Scheme for Specially Abled Persons, Single Women, Widows and Other Disadvantaged Classes” introduced by the Rajasthan Government is a historic step which aims to simplify the employment opportunities with the departmental support.
Franchise Scheme Rajasthan Application Process
- To provide employment opportunities to them, reputed forms like Proprietorship/Partnership Firm/Limited Liability Partnership/Company/Hindu Undivided Family are included in the retail sector.
- Private firms of this category do business through ready-to-do business model, franchise, dealership model. 1000 franchises will be opened through this. For this, this scheme will be started to provide training to the selected persons as well as a grant of Rs 1 lakh per franchise.
- This scheme was announced by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot in the budget presented for the financial year 2023-24. To give concrete shape to the scheme on the ground, the draft of the scheme has been uploaded by the Department of Industry and Commerce on the official website of the department.

- Specially abled persons of Rajasthan state, single women, unmarried women (above 30 years of age), deserted women, divorced women, widows and other deprived classes

- Which includes Other Backward Classes (except Creamy Layer) which includes Other Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Economically Weaker Sections
- Candidates below poverty line (BPL) will be eligible in the scheme.
