Eligibility for the scheme
- Only women can apply in this scheme and they must be residents of India.
- The age of the applying woman should be above 18 years.
- To avail the benefits of the scheme, the annual income of the applicants should not exceed Rs 1 lakh in rural areas and Rs 2 lakh in urban areas.
- Women belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, SC/ST category will be eligible to avail the benefits of the scheme.
