The Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is being run by the Government of India for farmers. More than 50 percent of India’s population is dependent on agriculture. The government is running several schemes to encourage farmers and provide them economic benefits. Through this scheme, 2000 rupees i.e. 6000 rupees are sent to the farmers’ accounts 3 times a year at an interval of every month. Under this scheme, the government has now released the 18th installment for farmers. So far, farmers have received the benefit of 17 installments. If farmers want to avail the benefit of the 18th installment, then they will have to complete the e-KYC process. If you do not complete the e-KYC process, then you will not get its benefit.
How to do e-KYC online
The beneficiaries of PM Kisan Yojana get the facility to do KYC both online as well as offline. How can you do e-KYC online?
- First of all you should visit the Kisan Yojana Officer website pmkisan.gov.in .
- After this, go to the home page and select the e-KYC option in the Farmer Corner section.
- After that, go to the e-KYC page, enter your Aadhaar number and then click on the search option.
- After this you will have to enter your mobile number. After that OTP will be sent to the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar. After entering the OTP, click on the submit button.
- After this your e-KYC process will be completed. Its message will come on your mobile.

Benefits of Kisan Yojana
Land registration is necessary for farmers to avail the benefits of this scheme. Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana run by the Government of India, farmers are being given Rs 6000 annually. This money is given to the farmers in three installments.
This money goes into the farmers’ accounts. The benefit of this scheme is to strengthen small and marginal farmers financially. The central government has released 17 installments. Now the 18th installment is going to be released for the farmers.

- First of all you should go to the official website of Kisan pmkisan.gov.in.
- Click on “Know Your Status” option on the home page.
- After this a new window will open. You will have to enter your registered mobile number and captcha.
- After entering the mobile number, you will have to click on Get OTP.
- After this, on clicking on Get Details the status will be visible on your screen.
