Benefits of the scheme
- This scheme is not limited to both urban and rural areas but is also suitable for other categories like General, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes.
- Under this scheme, those who do not have pucca houses and people living in kutcha houses will be able to avail the benefit of pucca houses.
- Under this scheme, Rs 1.5 lakh has been fixed for rural people and Rs 2 lakh for urban areas. This amount will go directly to the beneficiary’s account.
- Along with this, beneficiaries deprived of PM Awas Yojana will also be included under this scheme.
Eligibility for Hindimausa Housing Scheme
- Under Hindimosa Housing Scheme the person must be a resident of India.
- The age of the person under the scheme should be above 18 years.
- Along with this, the annual income of the family should be less than about Rs 3 lakh.
- No member of the family should have a government job.
- This scheme mainly focuses on families living in rural areas.
- Families already receiving assistance from any other schemes are not eligible for this scheme.
- Families which are off the list in 2011 census will be considered eligible for that scheme.

- The required information has to be filled in its form.
- All the documents have to be compiled along with the photo of your existing house and photo of the beneficiary.
