Haryana Free Plot Scheme 2024 [Updated]: BPL Family, Objective, Benefits, Eligibility, Application Process, Check List

A cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of the current Chief Minister of Haryana, Nayab Singh Saini. The Chief Minister Rural Housing Scheme-Extension has been approved in the cabinet meeting. This scheme launched by the government is a great initiative for poor families. Its objective is to provide residential plots of 50 square yards in Mahagram Panchayats and 100 square yards in general panchayats to the economically weaker sections, especially landless families in rural areas.

Government will give free plot to BPL family

This scheme launched by the government is a great initiative for poor families. Through this scheme, the eligibility of the applicant will be checked by the department and the plots will be distributed after paying a one-time cost of just one thousand rupees. After providing the plot, possession will be issued in the form of a letter of authority and compensation will also be provided if physical possession of the developed plot is not given within 2 years of the issuance of the letter of authority. Through this scheme, the government will provide the price of the land to the Gram Panchayat according to the actual collector rate of agricultural land.

Objectives of the Scheme

The objective of Haryana Free Plot Scheme is to benefit such families of the state who do not have land to build a house. Under this, the government will provide plots to the poor and weaker section families so that they can build their own house. This scheme will improve the standard of living of the poor families of the state and they will get relief from the problem of housing. Another objective of the scheme is that every citizen in Haryana should have his own house in which he can live a safe and respectable life.

Eligibility for the scheme

  • The benefit of this scheme will be available to those families whose annual income is less than Rs 1,80,000.
  • To apply for the scheme, it is necessary to have a family identity card.
  • Only the people of Haryana state will get the benefit of the scheme.
  • Those families who have already availed the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana or any other housing scheme will not be eligible for this scheme.

Required Documents

  • Proof of Identity, PAN Card/Aadhaar Card/Voter Identity Card
  • For identification of nationality: Voter card or Aadhar card
  • Home Address Proof: Aadhar Card
  • Proof of Category: SC/ST/OBC/Minority Certificate

Scheme application process

  • First of all you    should visit the official website hfa.haryana.gov.in .
  • On the homepage, find the “Rural Housing Scheme Detail Portal” option and click on it.
  • After that enter your identity card number and click on verification.

  • OTP will be sent to this family identity card. Enter the OTP and click.
  • Enter required details in the given application form.
  • Submit the form online.

How to check name in the list

After submitting the form, the department releases the HFA Haryana Result in the form of a list. All the applicants can check the HFA Haryana Result to confirm their plots, flats, apartments and houses as per the scheme.

  • First of all, the Housing Department officials  should visit the website hfa.haryana.gov.in .
  • Homepage check all available notifications.
  • Click on the scheme list on the homepage.
  • After this the PDF will open in a new tab.
  • Check name, Aadhar number, application number etc. in the list.
