Haryana Chirag Yojana
Under the Haryana Chirag Yojana, the government will provide basic facilities to such poor students and in this way the children of government schools will be given the opportunity to study in private schools for free. Any child whose family income is less than Rs 1.80 lakh is eligible to get the benefit of this scheme. In the initial phase of this scheme, the government is going to cover about 25,000 students who will be from class 2 to 12th. To launch the Chirag Yojana, the government has abolished section 134A. With this scheme, the government intends to allow low-income children to study in private schools for free.

- Admission under this scheme is restricted to the private school whose name is mentioned in the instructions of Form 6.
