Under the Har Ghar Har Grihini Yojana, all women in Haryana can get 12 cylinders refilled in a year. The government will take only ₹500 from the money they pay for refilling the cylinder and whatever money is left will be sent to the women’s account as subsidy and in this way, you will get a gas cylinder every month for just ₹500. When your money will be refunded, you will also get a message on your mobile. Under this scheme, the government will help all those women who are living below the poverty line.
Objective of the scheme
The government aims to get rid of all the women who are cooking on wood or coal stoves through this scheme and save the environment from pollution. Provides subsidized LPG cylinders to encourage families to switch from traditional fuels. Reduces the unnecessary need to collect firewood or other biomass fuels. Promotes the use of LPG to reduce deforestation and greenhouse gas emissions.

Benefits of the scheme
- Through this scheme, gas cylinders will be made available to the Antyodaya families of the state for just Rs 500. This will make cheap gas cylinders available to the Antyodaya families of the state. So that expenses can be reduced and they can get financial relief.
- This scheme will be operated by Haryana Food Civil and Consumer Affairs Department.
- Around 50 lakh families of the state will get the benefit of Har Ghar Har Grahani Yojana.
- For this, the state government has set an annual budget of Rs 1500 crore so that maximum eligible families can get the benefit of cheap gas cylinders.
- Self-employment opportunities will be provided to women.
- Under this scheme, women will be provided household appliances like gas stove and cylinder at low prices. Women from economically weaker sections will get special benefits from this scheme.

Eligibility for the scheme
- The applicant must be a native of Haryana state.
- The applicant must be at least 18 years of age.
- The annual income of the family should be less than ₹1.80 lakh.
- The applicant must have BPL or Antyodaya ration card.
- The applicant must have a gas connection under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana.
- There must be an active bank account linked with the gas connection.

How to apply in the scheme
- To apply for Har Ghar Har Grihini Yojana, first of all you have to go to the official website of Har Ghar Har Grihini Portal .
- After this the home page of the website will open in front of you.
- On the home page, you will see the link to the Registration Form below, you have to click on it.
- After clicking, a new page will open in front of you in which if you have a family ID, then you have to click on the option of Yes and on the next page you have to enter your family ID.
- After this you have to enter the captcha code and click on the Sand OTP option.
- Now an OTP will come on the mobile number linked to your family ID, which you have to enter in the given box and click on the verify option.
- Now the page of this scheme will open in front of you. In which you have to carefully enter all the important information asked in this form like name, address, mobile number, name of gas agency, consumer number etc.
- After this you have to scan and upload all the required documents.
- Finally you have to click on the submit option.
- After successful application, you will receive a receipt which you have to keep safe with you.
