Modi government has started a scheme which is benefiting poor families. This scheme provides loan without guarantee at low interest and also gives financial help of Rs 15000. The purpose of giving loan at low interest is to help poor families to start business. Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana, a new scheme was started on 17 September. This scheme is one such scheme.
In which assistance will be provided to artisans and craftsmen to work with the help of hands and tools. Boat maker, weapon maker, blacksmith hammer, tool kit maker, lock maker doll, toy maker garland maker, washerman tailor, fishing net manufacturing artisans will be included. Apart from this, all the artisans working as goldsmith Kumar sculpture, stone breaker thick shoe artisan, mason basket weaver will be included.
Loan of Rs 3 lakh without guarantee
Under the Vishwakarma Yojana, a loan of up to Rs 3 lakh without collateral will be given in 2 installments of Rs 1 lakh and Rs 2 lakh for a period of 18 months and 30 months. This loan will be given at a concessional interest rate of 5 percent with a discount of up to 8 percent by the Government of India.
Help of 15000 rupees
To further enhance the skills of people in the 18 trades decided under the Vishwakarma Yojana, training is also given through master trainers. Along with this, a stipend of Rs 500 per day is given. The beneficiaries will be given PM Vishwakarma certificate and ID card, skill upgradation related to basic and advanced training, toolkit incentive of Rs 15,000.
Benefits of Vishwakarma Yojana
- The person taking benefit of this scheme should be at least 18 years of age.
- The applicant should not have already taken a loan under any other scheme of the Central or State Government.
- Only one member of a family can avail the benefit of the scheme.

- Only those people who are engaged in traditional craftsmanship can apply under the scheme.
- Persons employed in Government service and their family members will not be eligible for this scheme.
Required Documents
To apply for this scheme, Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Income Certificate, Caste Certificate, Identity Card, Residence Certificate, Passport Size Photograph, Bank Passbook and Valid Mobile will be required.
How to apply
- First of all you should visit the official website pmvishwakarma.gov.
- Vishwakarma Yojana form will be visible on the homepage.
- Click on the Apply Online option available here.
- Now here you will need to register yourself.
- Registration number and password will be sent to your mobile number via SMS.
- After this, read the registration form carefully and fill it completely.
- Scan and upload all the required documents along with the filled form.
- Check the entered information once again and submit it.
