The Haryana government has started the Subsistence Allowance Scheme to improve the financial condition of poor laborers. Under this scheme, workers will be given an allowance of Rs 2539 every week. This amount will be sent to bank accounts through DBT. This scheme is for those workers who work in the NCR region in the state of Haryana and have been affected by the restrictions imposed on various activities related to construction work for a long time. Those workers will get the benefit of the scheme.
Objective of the scheme
The main objective of implementing the Subsistence Allowance Scheme is to provide financial assistance to workers engaged in construction work and to overcome their financial crisis. Such workers who have been affected by the restrictions imposed on construction work due to poor air quality. And whose construction activities can be stopped under the Graded Response Action Plan. The daily income of the workers meets the needs of their family, but due to the ban on construction work, their income has stopped.
